Past Events

Not only do we love teaching classes, we love hosting dance events that bring something new to our community. Here are a few of the past events that BailaOKC has hosted.

We were honored to bring professional dancers Nick & Ivonne, Sebastian & Elisa, Jorge & Maria and Angel & Stephany for two full days of workshops. We also had several local instructors who participated in teaching dance classes. We also hosted two socials and a live concert by bachata sensation Dani J. It was the largest event of it's kind in Oklahoma City.

BailaOKC Festival

Bachata Under the Stars

BailaOKC partnered with Chisholm Creek to host this free community event. People from all over OKC came out and enjoyed one of the 20 restaurants and then danced the night away under the stars. The family friendly event was so popular we have made it a regular occurring free event for the community.

Summer Weekender w/ Bryant Ayala

BailaOKC brought world-champion salsa dancer Bryant Ayala to OKC. Bryant came from Portland to teach salsa and bachata workshops and then did an amazing solo performance of his award winning choreography at our social.

Halloween Grand Opening

BailaOKC brought David and Jennifer Stein from the famed San Diego dance studio Majesty in Motion. They taught workshops and then danced the night away at our Halloween costume latin dance social.

Pinto Picasso Concert

BailaOKC collaborated with Bachamor to bring bachata superstar Pinto Picasso to OKC for the very first time. He performed all of his hit songs and people enjoyed dancing afterwards at Resonant Head.

Calderon Dance Festival

BailaOKC was proud to teach the bachata class at the Calderon Dance Festival. The bachata team also performed at this amazing event honoring the late great Shannon Calderon.
